Professor Ewa Błazik-Borowa

Prof. PhD Eng. Ewa Błazik-Borowa

works at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Lublin University of Technology. Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Structural Mechanics. Her teaching and research activities are related to structural mechanics and computer methods. She deals with research and simulations of environmental loads as well as research and numerical modelling of engineering structures, in particular scaffoldings. She created a scientific school at the Lublin University of Technology, in which scaffolding and construction formwork are the main stream of scientific interests. Ewa Błazik-Borowa is the author or co-author of 211 publications, over 180 technical studies (construction designs, technical designs of scaffolding and formwork, expert opinions). She is active in scientific associations, is a member of expert and advisory institutions, and was a member of 27 conference scientific committees.
