Guidelines

General information

The LSCE 2026 conference materials will be published in a peer-reviewed Book of Abstracts with an assigned ISBN. The publication will be available in both printed and electronic (PDF) formats and may be made available on the conference website.

The official language of the conference is English.

Scope of topics

The conference covers issues related to lightweight structures in civil engineering and architecture, in particular:
•  shell and spatial structures,
•  tensile and membrane structures,
•  bar and truss structures,
•  materials and technologies of lightweight structures,
•  optimization and form-finding,
•  application of digital tools and AI in structural design,
•  case studies and built examples.

Submission requirements

Authors are requested to prepare an extended abstract:
•  length: 2, 4 or 6 pages,
•  language: English,
•  file format: DOCX.

The abstract should concisely present:
•  the objective of the work,
•  the applied method or approach,
•  the key results,
•  the conclusions.

A maximum of 6 keywords should be provided.

Submission process

1. Prepare the abstract in accordance with the template.
2. Download and use the template file (DOCX).
3. Submit your contribution via the registration form or to the indicated email address.
4. You will receive a confirmation of submission.

Review process

Submissions are subject to academic evaluation by the Scientific Committee of the conference. The organizers may request revisions.

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference Book of Abstracts. After the conference, authors of selected contributions may be invited to submit full scientific papers.

Authors are required to use the predefined styles (LSCE_). Manual formatting of the text should be avoided.

Author responsibilities

The submitting author declares that:
•  the submitted work is original,
•  all co-authors have agreed to the submission and publication,
•  the author assumes full responsibility for the content of the work.
The use of artificial intelligence tools is permitted for auxiliary purposes, provided that the author retains full responsibility for the content of the work.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright to their work. Submission of an abstract constitutes granting the organizer a non-exclusive license to publish the conference materials.
