Conference Regulations
XXXII Conference “Lightweight Structures in Civil Engineering – LSCE 2026”
Gliwice, Poland, 3–4 December 2026
§1. General Provisions
- The scientific conference “Lightweight Structures in Civil Engineering – LSCE 2026”, hereinafter referred to as the Conference, will take place on 3–4 December 2026 in Gliwice, Poland.
- The Conference is organized by Silesian University of Technology in cooperation with the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB), Gliwice Branch.
- The aim of the Conference is to present research results, design experiences, and to exchange knowledge related to lightweight structures in civil engineering and architecture.
§2. Participation in the Conference
- Participants of the Conference may include:
• academic staff
• doctoral students
• students
• designers and representatives of engineering practice
• other persons interested in the Conference topics - Participation in the Conference requires:
• registration through the submission form available on the Conference website (www.lsce.pl)
• payment of the conference fee - The organizer reserves the right to refuse a submission in the event of providing false information or violating the provisions of these regulations.
§3. Submission of Papers and Abstracts
- Participants may submit proposals for presentations in the form of conference abstracts.
- Abstracts should be prepared in accordance with the organizer’s guidelines and submitted within the deadlines specified on the Conference website.
- Submissions are subject to scientific evaluation by the Conference Scientific Committee.
- The organizer reserves the right to:
• reject submissions that do not meet formal or scientific requirements
• change the form of presentation (e.g., oral presentation / poster)
§4. Conference Publications
- Accepted abstracts may be published in the Book of Abstracts of the Conference.
- By submitting an abstract, the author declares that:
• the work is original
• it does not infringe the copyright of third parties
• all co-authors have agreed to its submission - The author grants the organizer a non-exclusive license to publish the abstract in the conference materials in both printed and electronic formats.
- After the Conference, it may be possible to submit extended scientific papers for publication in journals or monographs indicated by the organizers.
§5. Conference Fees
- Information about the conference fees and payment deadlines will be published on the Conference website.
- The conference fee includes services specified by the organizer (e.g., participation in sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks).
- In the event of resignation from participation in the Conference, the organizer may specify refund conditions on the Conference website.
§6. Personal Data
- The administrator of the participants’ personal data is the Conference organizer.
- Personal data are processed solely for the purpose of:
• organizing the Conference
• contacting participants
• preparing conference materials - Providing personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary for participation in the Conference.
§7. Conference Documentation
- The organizer may document the Conference in the form of:
• photographs
• audio recordings
• video recordings - These materials may be used for informational and promotional purposes related to the Conference.
§8. Final Provisions
- The organizer reserves the right to introduce changes to the Conference programme.
- Current information concerning the Conference will be published on the official Conference website.
- Registration for participation in the Conference is considered as acceptance of these regulations.
